By now you are aware that we offer beautiful, quality furniture, that is ready for you to purchase right off of our floor, or completely customize to your liking (pick the fabric/ leather, the cushion type, wood finish, etc). **We are packed with new pieces to show off !** Here we have the new modular Dimitry Sectional (for those who love to move pieces around and mix it up), the new Madeline Swivel Chair (in a beautiful check velvet fabric), and the new Macon ottoman (in a faux mohair, with a custom gliding wood waterfall table on top in white oak). Stop by anytime Wednesday - Saturday 10:30-6pm to test out, and touch/ feel the hundreds of fabrics and leather options our shop has to offer.

New glasses and ice molds for that tasty summer cold drink outside. Fun long drink spoons or a marble wine stopper. We also have solid french oak cutting boards with drip edges for him to prepare the perfect steak. Because bring on the BBQ’s!

Jacque Price - The Power of Creativity

We recently received new art from our favorite artist, Jacque Price. Born to a creative family, whether it was art or music, Jacque says she’s been painting since she was in diapers. Raised in the East Bay, she then came to Placerville, where generations of her family are, and started high school. She was on a path to go into fashion and was accepted to FIDUM. After a nearly fatal accident she was drawn back to painting and the healing it brought her. She graduated from CSU - Chico with a BA in Studio Art with Painting Distinction. She still wasn’t sure painting was exactly what she was meant to do. Jacque, tried other paths but was once again drawn back to art after a serious health issue. She found that painting was what her body and soul needed. In 2008 she had a showing on Main Street in Placerville, CA in the building right next to Brass + Oak. Molly Carter, our owner, saw her show and a creative relationship was born. Jacque says, “Molly was really the kickstarter to career and knowing it was the right path for her”. She also says, “At the heart I believe in the power of creativity and the importance of being able to express it for your well being”. Jacque now has a gallery in Soquel, Ca, where she offers showings, classes, and even retreats.
